Object Manipulation

Move

The Move tool allows you to reposition your 3D model on the print bed.

  • Move it freely: Click and drag the model to any position on the print bed.
  • Move it along an axis: Click and drag the arrows that appear on the model to move it along the X (Red), Y (Green), or Z (Blue) axis.
  • Specific distance movement:
    • World Coordinates: Move it's position to a specific coordinate on the print bed.
    • Object Coordinates: Move it a specific distance relative to its current position.

Rotate

The Rotate tool allows you to change the orientation of your 3D model.

  • Relative: Rotate the model by a specific angle relative to its current orientation.
  • Absolute: Set the model to a specific angle regardless of its current orientation.

Scale

The Scale tool allows you to resize your 3D model.

  • Scale: Resize the model by a percentage of its current size.
  • Size: Set the model to a specific size in millimeters.
  • Uniform Scale: Maintain the model's proportions while scaling.

Lay on Face

This is one of the fastest ways to properly orient a model for printing.
The Lay on Face tool allows you to quickly orient your model by selecting a face to lay flat on the print bed.
