Aliaksandr Valialkin fb2071a01e lib/regexutil: properly handle alternate regexps surrounded by .+ or .* ...

Previously the following regexps were improperly handled:

  .+foo|bar.+
  .*foo|bar.*

This could lead to unexpected regexp match results.
