1d07610320 Added AM_PROG_CC_C_O and AM_PROG_LIBTOOL 
Removed unused CXX

added the following default compiler flags:
  -Wdeclaration-after-statement
  -Wsequence-point
  -Wparentheses
  -Winit-self
  -Wuninitialized
  -Wformat
  -fstrict-aliasing -Wstrict-aliasing=2

added the following default linker flags:
  -Wl,--discard-all
  -Wl,--no-undefined

Depending on autoconf-archive because using AX_CHECK_COMPILE_FLAG and AX_CHECK_LINK_FLAG
